Stillness junior School is a popular 3 form entry school which has an excellent record of achievement and is well established within its local community.
The Governors, pupils and staff wish to appoint an outstanding Administration / Reception Officer to join our busy and motivated Office Team in this successful multi-cultural school.
Location: Stillness Junior School, Brockley Rise, Forest Hill, London, SE23 1NH
We are looking for an Administration / Reception Officer who:
- Is enthusiastic and has experience of working in a fast paced (ideally school) office with a focus on efficient and friendly service.
- Is flexible; has the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks on a daily, weekly, termly basis.
- Is a quick learner, is proactive and can use their own initiative.
- Has excellent knowledge of ICT and Microsoft Office; good knowledge of our MI system ScholarPack would be desirable, but not essential.
- Has excellent administrative and clear communication skills – both verbally and written.
- Shows a commitment to the principles of equal opportunities and inclusion – is confidential, professional and friendly.

An enhanced DBS check will be requested for the successful candidate in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education Legislation. We will also request at least two references from current / past employers. Original evidence of right to work within the UK will be required prior to commencement of employment ie. National Insurance Number, Work Permit, Indefinite Leave to Remain.
